Student Dorms – Hebrew University
Rehovot, Israel
2021-2024
This significant academic project is a 600-unit student housing complex located at The Hebrew University’s Robert H. Smith Faculty of Agriculture, Food and Environment in Rehovot, Israel, commissioned by The Hebrew University and designed by Y.Y. Granot Architects. Spanning a massive 270,000 SF (25,000 Sq Meter ), this complex was conceived to significantly enhance the student experience on campus.
As a core member of the design team and Project Designer/Coordinator, I was responsible for the crucial early phases of the project, including schematic design development and the preparation of all necessary planning submittals. My role involved meticulous coordination with structural and MEP consultants to ensure technical feasibility. I also collaborated extensively on optimizing unit layouts and developing campus integration strategies to ensure both a high quality of life for students and full regulatory compliance.
