This award-winning project is a competition proposal for a modular, child-centered kindergarten complex in Modiin, Israel, commissioned by the Municipality of Modiin and designed by Itzhaki Architects, which secured First Place. The design, which spans three separate kindergarten classrooms, focuses on encouraging interaction, independence, and exploration. The layout features a radial arrangement that ensures visual transparency and spatial clarity while giving each classroom direct access to its own secure outdoor play yard, along with shared service and support areas.
