Carmi HaSharon
Kfar Yona, Israel
2014-2015
This expansive project, Carmi Hasharon in Kfar Yona, Israel, is a major master-planned residential neighborhood developed for the client Gindi by Raziel Architects. Spanning a significant 592,000 SF (55,000 Sq Meter ) and featuring 320 multi-family units across several mid-rise buildings, the design centers on creating a high-quality, connected suburban community. My role as Project Designer was crucial in the initial site planning and building layout optimization to maximize both unit count and optimal orientation. I was directly involved in the design development of the residential towers and their integration with the public realm, preparing all necessary planning and permit drawing sets to adhere to local zoning and national housing standards. The project’s success lies in its emphasis on green connectivity, pedestrian pathways, and a central park—all coordinated through my close collaboration with landscape architects and support during the critical client and municipal approval processes.
